hey was wondering if a 10" Ceramic lamp and a 125wt Mercury Vapor Bulb EXO-TERRA SOLAR GLO UVA-UVB BULBS would be ok to use, like is it too much uv? or what do you think? thanks cause my friend has one.

WOO! How are you measuring your temps! I use a 40 watt normal incandescent bulb on a 20 long and can get a 100F basking. Get a digital temp gun and get accurate measurments. I would put money on it that a 125watt would be WAY too hot in a 20 long!!

she has a 50 gal. and a digital thermometer. the substrate is aspen and it is an adult. i think it is a northern... very fat. :)
