Hi everyone well i only have 2 questions i wanted to know is a 55 gallon tank okay to keep 2 BTS? also is aspen bedding okay for BTS?

BTS are solitary animals in the wild. They can and will viciously attack each other if you keep them in the same tank. So to answer your question, no tank is large enough to house 2 bluey’s together. 55 gal is barely big enough for 1 adult. Length of them are good, width is horrible, height isnt the greatest, but can be dealt with.

Aspen is usually an acceptable bedding. however, some species of BTS require higher humidity than others and aspen is very hard to keep increase humidity. I use cypress mulch.

I have an Eastern BTS and use coconut fiber which by spraying it once daily seems to have just the right amount of moisture.

hi my name is skink boy keeping 2 blueys in a 55 gallon wouldnt work out. Each bluey should have a 55 to a 75 to themselves although bluey are very tame they can bite each other and take of each others limbs and tails. aspen bedding is okay for a bluey just make sure that when u feed them that they dont take in any of it. it can mess with them digesting their food
