 Monkey tail Skink?!!
Has anyone ever heard of the species of skink Monkey tail skink? I was watching a show on the Discovery channel and it had that species of skink on there. I had never heard of or seen before. It is amazing! If you haven’t seen or heard about it, you should!

yes they are also called prehensile tailed skink
very cool but also very expensive from what i have been told
would love to own one some day though

Just saw it on Wild Pacific on Animal Planet. I prefer that than a chameleon any day. It has to be at least 5 times more expensive than a ordinary blue tongue skink. They are plant eaters only and live high up in the trees and are the biggest skinks in the world growing up to 3 feet. They just look like a large BTS with a prehensile tail, gray background color with a tinge of green to them. The eastern iguana!

I have also heard that they can be a bit nasty to handle. I saw one years ago at a pet store which is no longer in business. You are better off with a BTs as far as disposition is.
