That really depends on which type you buy and from where. I would say any where from $160 and up.

That depends onwhat you consider "worth it." I think BTSs are awesome and more personable than geckos, but less than bearded dragons. They usually have little health problems and can live 20+ years if taken care of properly. We have had ours for nine years and he still likes to cuddle under our hair. So I think mine was worth the money. What were you looking for in a reptile? Also, at times there are rescues, but you need to make sure they have been previously handled if they are adults or they may not be very sociable.
