 Blue tongue skink

i have a blue tongue skink and i want to know how hot should his basking spot be? it runs about 92 and i have heard that it should be in the 80’s

Usually the basking spot needs to be about 100F.

I guess I should have also mentioned, that if I was getting a 92F basking temp and my bluey wasnt basking all the time and eating and pooping, then I would not bother trying to raise it. You are probably fine where it is.
