Cage mates? 
I have just purchased a fire skink, although I am familiar with and have handled skinks, this is the first one I’ve owned. He (I think) is about 5-6 inches long and will be housed in a 20 gallon tall tank. My questions is since he is primarily a substrate dweller, is there something that is primarily a top dweller that would compliment the space at the top of my tank in the classroom, yet not have any problems with the skink? I’d appreciate any information anyone can provide :)
p.s. If not, I’m okay with that, just seems like a lot of unused aesthetic space at the top that would make a good home for someone :)
