Can anyone identify this lizard??
I got him from a friend and she was told that he was an ornate lava lizard. I have never heard of those before, but this was many years ago before I knew anything about reptiles so I always thought that’s what he was. I now believe him to be a kind of skink, however I have yet to find any that look like him. Just to be clear, he is not dead in the picture. He would play dead whenever handled. When he was picked up, he would put his front legs back and close his eyes. I do not have him any more - he has since died years ago, but I always wondered what he was... Can anyone help???
