5 lined skinks are a smaller skink and easy to take care of and usually have a big appetite.

is there another easy that comes from the desert that dosent need a huge cage and live its whole life in a ten gal or a twenty long

broad headed skinks can live in a 20 long their whole life. so can western,ground,and 5 lined skinks. 5 lined skinks are not from the desert. neither are any i posted above. they require a woodland habitat with substrate they can burrow in, like bedabeast or organtic potting soil.not plain sand,but you can mix the sand with the soil though.
