 New Scorpion Owner

I just bought a new emperor scorpion today. I have it in a 30 gallon tank w/ 4 plants, a very shallow water dish, and a log to hide in. The temp. is 85* and the humidity is 95%. please point out any mistakes and give me any tips that you have. I did 2 weeks worth of research before getting my scorp, but i am only thirteen years old and i am quite inexperienced with arachnids.

that cage is to big. the humidity is a little high, id drop it about 10. also, you need about 5 inches of peat moss. how much are you feeding it?also, please post a pic. do you have something like suran wrap covering the cage top? it shouldnt be that humid without that. pull it back some to let some humidity out. also, i hope you arent measureing humidity right after a misting; that will gove you inacurate results

yes, she most likely has decided to make a new hide by either tunneling or is just hiding. you may want to ad another hole to lower the humidity. you want just above 80.

i checked, and the humidity is exactly 80%. She looked quite gravid when i bought her. Is it at all possible that she has scorplings with her?
