 Feeding Time

I had an emperor and it wouldn’t eat, so then I got these wild caught desert ones, and I have yet to have a mom give birth while in captivity, now i have 2 so i am anxiously waiting. They eat houseflies, mayflies, crickets, earwigs, catepillars, most anything,Im also seeing what they would take, I know not beetles. I find them easy to care for and they don’t freak out when captured, I find them alot easier than CB.

 Feeding Time

This morning i was watching one of my deserts that i caught, he grabbed a small cricket and could easily eat it but slowly and mathotically stung it slowly in places,no fast stings, carefully placed it in certain places and slowly retreated it’s stinger. like a robot at a factory movements. I have another scorpion that won’t sting it but consume it as it is. Very interesting and how fast they are in catching their pray like a fly buzzing by.

Hi Diggy415, I’m new to this site but was just curious on something. Last week a Wind Scorpion (or Camel Spider) was in my restroom so I caught it and then released it I noticed that it ate an Earthworm then walked by a puddle afterwards though it immediately died. I was wondering if the earthworm had anything to do with it, or could it just have been sick?
