I found this in laundry pile on the floor...

of my boyfriend’s room. I was wondering if she is pregnant or if this thing is just obese? I’m not too familiar with scorpions. And it has been this thick since I rescued it from my boyfriend’s shoe. I have been feeding Sub-Zero (it’s name) crickets and silk worms. But it seems to just enjoy killing them, I’ve never seen it eat any of the kills. I get that they’re nocturnal, but so am most times. What temperature should her bowl be at?

Hi there
I think that’s a forest type scorpion, so keep the enclosure moist for it
The temperature should be above 75, more like in the 80s.
Make sure there’s a water dish/bowl for it to drink.
This species is not dangerous to humans. Scorpions also don’t eat that often, so don’t worry if it doesn’t eat a lot. Just make sure not to stuff its enclosure w/ food items.

It looks like a Paruroctonus silvestrii or common California scorpion and it does look like it is pregnant.
