Iím not too sure about sand, but i have three emps and I bought some organic peat moss and some organic potting soil and mixed it 75/25 with mostly peat moss. It holds moisture really well and they can easily dig in it. It doesnít cave in. It was less than 10 bucks and i have enough to change it out several times.

Well at the moment (until I get to a garden shop...there isnít one close lol) Iíve got what is almost like soil and woodchips...well woody bits. Iím just watching at the moment, and the Mealworms seem to be doing all right (its like a scene from Dune at the moment) but Iím worried if Scorpius is alright with it...Iíve never seen him burrow....Any advice will be helpful!
