 Is my emperor scorpion pregnant??

I bought 2 emperor scorpions 3 weeks ago. All of a sudden the smaller younger one just bloated up and has been that way for about a week and a half. It is acting a little more timid than the larger one. Also i havent seen it eat for about 4-5 days. It doesnt appear to be hungry besides it wont anything that goes near it. Im not sure if its male or female though. I cant compare it to the male because hes twice the size of it. Im not what this means but sometimes the male whill like shake if it goes near him.

1) change the substrate asap, especially if it is pregnant. gravid and females with young are super sensitive about conditions.

2) shaking isnt exactly a good sign. it can be used as courtship or as a warning, either way, i would separate them

3) it could just be that the smaller one gorged itself (pet stores dont exactly give it great conditions and food supply) so keep an eye on it. they can stay gravid for months, so keep an eye on it, if she is pregnant you will eventually be able to see the babies through her.
