 Kinda Urgent...

How often should I mist to keep the humidity at 75-80% in a 10gallon tank if I・m home all day everyday. And the substrate isn・t good at holding moisture?

Thanks so much. I have a mesh top. Would it work if I cover it with like seran wrap or something?

What substrate are You using? If You have a screened top, You need to cover 2/3 of it to keep the Humidity in. Rayna :-)

I・m using Marine Sand. I KNOW they・re supposed to have peat moss or other substrate like that. But this is the ONLY thing the pet store held. Also he and his buddies were kept in this. I asked the store people why there wasn・t substrate so they could burrow. And they said that they・ve been keeping scorps in that stuff for as long as they・ve been in buisseness and as long as there are plenty of hides they・ll be fine. And Geico・s been doing fine, so this is the only thing I could do. Thanks.

Go to Wal Mart. Look in Lawn & Garden. The Canadian Spaghnum Peat Moss is under 3.00 a Bag. Wet it with bottled water. It needs to be 4-6 inches deep. Emps like to burrow.
