 South African Tri-color (Opistophthalmus wahlbergi)

Does anyone know antything about the South African Tri-color (Opistophthalmus wahlbergi)?

I want to get one of these but Not sure if its a good idea for a beginner.

I wonít be touching it at all ever just feeding it and all that.

And if I have to clean its cage out Iíll just trap it inside a critter keeper.

Iím being lazy today so Iím just going to c/p what I posed in another thread.

The general gist of info. Iíve been able to find is this:
They are from south Africa...a desert species.
They like to burrow and should probably be kept on pre soaked, dried and packed sand, or dry peat.
Temperatures should be in the 80s, can go as high as 90 F. Humidity should be pretty much nil. They are known to be fiesty and great eaters.
Hope that helps.

Opistopthalmus sp. venom toxidity is 600 to 625
What the heck does that mean you ask?
Well, Leiurus quinquestriatus (one of the most lethal scorpions in the hobby) has an LD 50 rating of 0.25....your scorpion isnít going to kill you if it tags you.

The lower the LD number, the more lethal the venom.
