 Paddle Tail newt, dying, need help

Hi i bought 2 paddle tail newts about 3 weeks ago, and yesterday one of them died and i have a feeling the other is on his way out. the newt hasn’t eaten, there are worms still in the enclosure and his normally deep brown coat is very pale. I use bottled water normally but was out of town and the water was changed with tap and chemicals. There was a plant in there but i took it out and i think the worms are still heathly.

Any ideas on how to help him? I;m bummed out already and this would kill me. and unfortunately there is nothing else on the internet!

ok
i have the same problem or had the same problem
it sounds as though you have a severe case of ICK
no joke thats wat its called buy some ick tretment as soon as possible
ilost 2 newts to ick and protozoans
does he have little spots on him that look like disease and also does he have a grayish white colored slime on him
if so its ICk and the slime is sick mucus
