Thank you so much. I kept thinking it was a fire belly newt, but you put us on the right direction. The pet store accidentally put it into our bag and it was too late to take him back. I was unsure what to do with him. Thanks again!

I have one, just keep it at cold tempatures in the water(fully aquatic),and give him lots of hiding places, you can even feed it fish.

Holy cow -- I’ve never kept these, but am surprised at how nasty and voracious they apparently are.

It is either chineese fire belly or paddletail, you cant tell until it grows up. Just to be safe, I woukd make1/4 of the tank dry land, and the water not too deep. They arent mean, or vicious, and if they eat live cickets they must be small. Earthworms cant be digested unless they are chopped into peices. Do some research on fire bellies so you can know exactly what habitst you need. And also, why in earth wud u buy donething from a petstore w/out knowing what it us ??!!!! By the time you get a habitst set up, it will die living in that bag. You should have thought it out more begore you bought some randim creature. I hope everything works ou okay.

Uu you were already responded to I think but I have a little more info if you read this when full grown there fully aquebetic think I spelled that right XP but keep a turtle dock so it can get out of water if desired blood worms are good feeding a little a day have a hiding spot or it will get stressed leading to shorter life span handle with a clean glove of some sort for the sake of the amphibian you have oils on skin that could harm it since it absorbs stuff through skin hope this helped hope I wasn’t late I saw all your SOS posts lol :)
