My Newt Pooped!!!
okay, this is a big deal to me! I’ve had my newt for 1 week as of today. His mate already died and i’ve had a hard time getting him to eat. yesterday i left in a little chip of frozen blood worms and a live worm. covered the tank and left him alone. this morning he had a big poop in the tank!!! so i’m thinking he had to have eaten something to be able to poop!!!!! so maybe things are looking up for this guy!!!!! i’m so excited!!!! just thought i’d share!!!

My Newt Pooped!!! Good news, Linda! I know how concerned you’ve been about them. You did everything you were supposed to do and now you’ve reaped the smelly benefits!

My Newt Pooped!!! Thank you!!! He’s still going strong and eating, he seems to eat at night when it’s completely dark. He’s staying under his cave a lot and doesn’t seem to come out that often. I hope he starts to explore soon!!!! I’m just glad for now everything is going good!!!
Thanks for your help!
Linda

My Newt Pooped!!! Give him time and he’ll come out. My female paddletail still doesn’t come out unless she is hungry or the male goes to visit her at her cave and I have had them for over a year.
