 Is this true?

i have a 2.5 inch salamander and my dad asked the petstore what it would eat when he showed the guy how big it is the guy said they eat pinkies! but pinkies are like 7 times my salamanders size! its more likely that pinkies will eat the salamander. not that they would but is this true?

you can feed pinkies to adult tiger salamanders, but not often, as it results in obesity, i mean they get really fat!

as for your little salamander, you can feed it small earthworms, or cut up larger ones, whichever is easier for you to get

wll iu didnt really believe it because my salamander is 3.5 inches and full grown. how COULD it eat a pinky anyways? thanks for the tip
