 Can a sally digest flour?

I was just woundering.. cuz at my local pet shop I can’t often find crickets, or any other bug, that are small enough for my sally. I have these dried up bloodworns, and was woundering if i can smoosh them into a ball of flour mixed in a lil water, know what I meen? I’m just trying to find an alternative way to feed him if there are no crickets available of the right size. (Oh and about how this him that way.. well i can just loosly tie the thing on something and jiggle it, he goes after anything that moves)

yeah- salamanders eat flour ALL the time- i had one and it used to bake cookies and cakes- they were so delicious- but tiny- i had her baking all the time- one time she put too much baking powder in the mix- and the oven blew up and killed her- really sad- so i dont think i would give my salamander any flour- if you dont want that to happen- SQSA

sereiously though- just go outside and find things for it to eat- it would be a lot healthier for your salamander to mix up his diet also- what kind is it??

Just a little tip possibly.
People come on here for help and advice, and snipping at them and being rude is not beneficial to the animal they are inquiring about.
Allot of people have great advice on here, but MANY pass judgment with their advice.
And that makes others not want to ask for help.
Not all of us are experts right off the bat.
A little understanding never hurt.

did you buy it at a store and if you did how much was it does the store have a website was it shipped to you and you know it’s an eft if it is not in the water all the time and if it has gills then it’s an aquatic adult!
