 New babies!

Well, my two sister mice have both had their babies! The first had 12, and I’m not sure exactly how many the second one had, but I’ve got over 20 total.

Here’s my plastic tub house. I hot glued the screen in, and it seems durable enough.

The edge is pretty nasty because my neighbor’s husband "helped" and sawed at it with a pocket knife... But hey, I don’t hear the mice complaining...

I grabbed this little guy because he was already out of the nest.

I’m really excited, and hoping that they will all grow up well and things will be nice and uneventful!

 New babies!

Congratulations, EvilTrailMix! You look like you are off to a great start here. 10 to 12 babies per litter is about right. It’s nice when the mamas have their litters at the same time, so they can share the nursing.

Some of my mamas and their young. Although the larger babies are with the littler ones, everybody is doing well. If I get too wide of a spread between birth dates I do separate them.

 New babies!

Thanks! Mine are just 3 days apart, so it shouldn’t be too big of a difference.

I’m still jealous of your pretty patterned mice... :P

Congrats, Evil! I hope these do better than your last litter. Good luck and have fun with them!
