It’s probably too late now, but when I upgrade a snake to a a new home I always try to bring along something they like that smells familiar, such as an unwashed hide area or even their old substrate if it was changed recently anyway. I doubt it’s usually necessary, but some are more sensitive than others. |

Well she was the first year in a small Rubbermaid container box, with a heat mat , and 12h day light, now the enclosure its 3 times bigger and vertical with a ceramic heater, temperatures are the same, but the gradient use to be on horizontal, right-cold left-hot and with this one, its Heat on the top and cold below, so there are a few environment changes...i´m wandering if i should take her back to the old place and see if she takes a meal in there or give some more time to get used to were she is now. I just don´t know if 2 months off feeding its something to be concerned for a one year old rat Texas snake. |
