I currently have a Boa Constrictor, and 2 Ball Pythons, I’m looking to add to my small collection, I’m torn between getting a Green Tree Python or a Cherry Bomb Albino Blood Python. Any advise you can give me would be great, Thanks!

cherry bombs are nice but if you a show snakes green tree is the way to go although they tend to be mean they are very nice to look at you will need to do alot of research if you want a green tree

Well, the first question you have to ask is do you want to handle it. If you do, get a young or already tame blood. If not and you just want a display snake, get a gtp. But, another important thing you have to think about is gtps are really hard to care for. In my opinion, blood all the way, but it’s all in what you want in your snake.

There is a lot of misinformation in this thread.

Green tree pythons are not hard to care for, they are about as easy as any other snake.

The majority of them are not mean, this is a misconception that stems from wild caught animals in the past. I can handle mine just fine and have handled many other GTP’s.
