its an amazing feeder it was raised on rodents and i had some chicks left over from my monitors so i decide to switch it up and see if she would take it and she did not think twice about it. the temperament is a little like a retic you gotta be firm with your movements don’t hesitate with what your about to do she will headbutt you before she bites. iam looking for another retic to so if any one has a normal female i would be interested in a trade i don’t care about morphs i like the pattern and color alot better when there normal.

Scrubs are in the same genus as carpets, but hold their own clan with 5-8 species/subspecies (depending on who you talk to). That one looks like a Meruake local; maybe an Aru, definately M. amethistina.
I’m sure interbreeding takes place in the wild-and may very well have impacted local morphs-but as I understand it, barnecks are a wild type scrub found on mainland West Papua.
