 Baby carpet python making popping sound ? advice

i bought this baby jungle carpet python from the white plains ny reptile expo and he seemed fine i checked him out before i bought him he is abut 12 inches give or take a few and he seemed in good health his nose was clear no kinks alert active but when i took him home and set him up i noticed a popping sound i couldnt hear it at the expo because it was soo loud 200plus people is this a sign of or is it normal any imput

Can be a SIgn or a RI, knock the temps up for abit, see how he is for a few days, if it dont go then a quick vet check up wouldnt hurt.
