You’ve had one snake die and you’re unable to keep the other one’s humidity level down far enough? I’d focus on keeping the JCP alive, not on getting a coastal, too.
Is the whole room 90 per cent? If so, just get a dehumidifier. If it’s just the cage, switch the substrate to paper. Carpet pythons aren’t burrowers anyway. They don’t need mulch or Eco-Earth or any of those other fashion trends. If humidity gets too low during the winter, then I can see the argument for using substrate. But it should only be 60 per cent, with 50 per cent being better than 70. At 90, it’s so high that I wouldn’t even waste time worrying how to dry it out. I’d just get rid of it.

There are many reasons your snake is not sleeping in its tree. How old is the snake? Do you have a correct temperature gradient? Does your snake have a hide box? Does the snake have any cover around the tree? Is the tree under the basking site? So many, many factors to consider.

If you post a picture of your cage and some details about how you have it set up, someone can be more informed to answer your question.

Ps: Why did the other snake die??????

They like to climb, but they also like to hide. Think about what a tree trunk looks like versus what the leafy top part looks like. A lot of them will enjoy a branch that has some fake vines around it to give them a sense of cover while they’re in between the leaves and the branch. As they relax and settle in, you’ll even see them use bare branches, but if they’re scared and have a choice between an exposed branch and a hidden box, they’ll take the box.
