The reds you see are neonates, some red neos will turn high yellow when they are adults, but it’s not very common and usually from designer bloodlines.

It’s hard to purchase a baby and KNOW that it will turn out high yellow but to increase your chances you are better off going to a designer pairing. Many biak locale types are sold as high yellow, but many of these turn mostly green by the time they’re 5 years old or so. They are just a lot slower to completely change their colors.

If you want a pretty sure bet that you’ll get high yellow adult, you’re going to probably have to pay a premium price.

To get extensive information and find some quality breeders visit the forum/classified at www.moreliaviridis.com

The high yellows are still my favorites and one of the reasons I’ve fallen in love with these snakes. Here’s a couple of mine.

Two years old, she may get a little more green, but probably not much. Her dad changed his color early like she did also.

She was in shed in that pic, hard for me to keep up with them!

The high yellow’s are amazing to me. GTP are awesome. They are real display snakes and such effective and smart hunters as well. What are your thoughts and insight on housing a JCP and GTP
