Heres pics of me finally holding her without gloves on!!! She coming around just find. Boy do they keep you on your toes. She is nothing like my red tails. She has stop jumping trying to bite at me, when i go to get her out of the cage with the hook. So thats good. Thanks to everyone who has replied on previous post.

I know what you mean, going from redtails to retics is an eye opener....RTB are so docile and calm retics have such a strong feeding response and move alot more, and much faster!

i got lucky with my Lucy (shes a tiger too). she has never tried to snap and she was never jumpy at all.

but i know how it is. i have a coastal carpet who has been snappy as hell from the day i got him. he has definitely come around. hes still a little jumpy when i reach in the cage but perfectly calm once i’m holding him. i guess it just takes A LOT of handling and patience. and it’s probably much harder with a tic. ive seen some with some tempers on them.

good luck with her though shes gorgeous. classic tiger.

Thanks everyone! Yea i love her so much, she is by far the coolest snake i have. I have 3 red tails and a ball and yes i get excited to take them out because i love them also, but its not the same with her. She moves and watches me, its like she tests me to see what i’ll do!

Today i took her out to feed and everything was fine and she is fat and happy.Thanks again for the post!!!

Looks amazing! There is nothing more beautiful that a baby tiger (in my opinion anyways). Is this your first Tic.? Cause they are not all snappy. Out of the five retics I have owned (two tigers, a normal, yellowhead, and a super) only one of the tigers ever gave me trouble (quite a bit of trouble). The other four have been very docile and never struck. So there are tame retics out there.

Thanks! Yea she is my first retic. I was starting to wonder if they where all like this. lol. but she has done a total 360 because now she is calm and she DON"T POO ON ME ANY MORE!!!! she comes right out of her cage and is sweet now. I knew she would come around. I want to get another one soon but i’m going to work with her for a while before i do that. There is a expo at the sun dome in Tampa we’ll just have to she whats there. LOL.
