 Cage for burm

What is the best cage size for my adult burm he doesn’t move much so he was in a 9’x5’x3’ he’s 16-17’...he’s more active at night than day and will a bigger cage stress him because he eats, drinks and bathe perfectly and even bask. I really need to know so me and my friend can start building the cage if neccessary.

I believe a bigger cage would be necessary, your Burm should be able to feel comfortable. if he/she is 16-17ft your snake being 7ft longer than the cage it can not stretch out. With that beining said I know it’s not very practical too have a 15ft plus cage. But again this should be something you keep in consideration before owning a snake that can obtain the sizes of a burm.

 Cage for burm

Thanks tyler I been upgraded the cage lol...since I’m a female with no building experience my dad friend showed me and gave me his tool set. He’s 17-18’ and he’s in a 16’(L)x8’(W)x5’(H). I plan on giving more width and maybe height but he seems ok and climbs so this is like my 2nd time upgrading because of the height issue. Oh and my dad should of took this into consideration when he bought his 6 year old daughter this hatchling and I had to grow up with it :(. But I’m happy because this snake showed me how cool reptiles are when taken good care of. Thanks again tyler for the response I greatly appreciate it :)
