 Burm turned mean!

I have had an albino burm for about 6 months now and he has never been any problem until i recently moved his cage into another area. The next day I tried to pick him up and he flattened his body and hissed and struck me. I tried again a few hours later and he did the same thing. I thought burms were supposd to be gentle. I’m a little disturbed because he’s always been so tame.

Can impaction, inclusion, any odd condition cause a sudden change in temperment.?

The temps range from 78 on one end to 95 on the other. He eats well and poops well. Has a hide that he fits in well.

 Burm turned mean!

He could just have been scard since he is in a new cage nothing to worry about.

Good luck!

if you moved his cage to a different part of the house.....he could just be a little stressed. is his cage in a place in the house where traffic is high? you could try covering up his cage with a towel for a little while and just let him settle wtihout holding him cuz that could be stressing after moving him.
