Karma is pretty! When I take my burm out I either get weird looks, or people interested. Looks like you got kids interested! good!

thats good you got the block learning. Ive taken my snakes out before but theyre babies and I didnt think anybody noticed but so far 1 of our neighbors mentioned something bout my snakes. I want to take them out next summer on the grass but they’ll be big especially my burm and I dont want anybody complaining or threatening to sue or anything. I have permits for 1 of my boas but not the burmese yet. They do allow burms in my state but if I have a permit nobody can sue me or charge me of anything right? I dont think they like my pitbull who’s super freindly imagine my snakes.

i wouldn’t worry about permits to much unless they are required in your state other wise your good to go, might not be a bad idea to contact your local animal control for any thing that might be necessary.

otherwise its your property i wouldnt worry about your neighbors to much.

Burmsr4me: Don’t be discouraged by slow responses - many of us don’t have time to log on every day to check in. Also, there seem to be many folks here who are not raising families, so they don’t get as excited about family-type photos. Great looking snakes and family by the way, although you are making me feel old; my kids are now all taller than me. Moral of the story - enjoy them while they are small. Guess I will have to wait until one of mine makes me a grandfather :(

As for the snakes, I have always wanted an albino burm, but my wife is freaked out by the size. Instead we compromised on a Python Curtis (Blood Python) that happens to be fond of biting chunks out of people. I won’t be letting the neighborhood kids hold him unless they are trouble-making kids I want to get rid of...lol.
