 Quick question??

My burm is having trouble shedding, so i want to change the substrate because i think it is due to improper humidity. My question is how do you guys feel about using dirt as a substarate. he is a little guy right now so i can take him out of his enclossure to feed him.
Any input would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks :Matt

 Quick question??

i dont think dirt is a good substrate for big snakes, i use cypress mulch, as far as shedding problems simple solution for those stubborn ones, go to meijers, buy a cool mist vicks humidifier with the round whole at the top, go to meinards buy some pvc pipe stick it in hole plumb to cage no more problems. even better go to meijers buy 5 dollar timer, you can have it turn off and on through out the day with out touching it.
