Albino burms on Craigslist 
I was searching craigslist for a BCI when I came across this add selling two breeding albino burms and their cage and two breeding RTB’s and their cage. So I emailed the guy to ask him how much he wanted for them and here is what he wrote back.
Quote: Since The cages are going with that snakes I am looking for $800 for the albinos and $600 for the redtails but if you want to take all of them I’ll cut you a deal for $1200. Let me know if this is reasonable for you. Thanks for the reply.
I haven’t looked at them as they are about 3 hours away. But I was wondering if this is a good deal? From the sounds of the original ad it is four snakes and two cages. Thanks in advance.

HUmm I think it would really depend on the cages that are comming with them. If you really look around you can find the snakes themselves a lot cheaper.I would deffinetly be asking for pics of the snakes and ask about the temperment, schedules etc beforehand. Id also ask to see the cages. If the cges are well built and nice it might be worth it as most are quiet expensive. I’m curious why he is houseing 2 snakes together at all times, most of us dont do that only keep them together when its breeding time.Just my opinion.

From the pictures on Craigslist they seem like decent cages. As for houseing them together I have no idea. We were really just looking for a female Colombian and I asked if he would sell just her. He replied that he has had them together for three years and doesn’t want to split them up. I don’t really have the heart to tell him if we buy them(or the burms) they will be separated immediately and house separately.

I am curious, were you looking at the st.louis MO craigslist? There was a guy on there selling exactly the same thing but he was wanting $3000 for his 2 burms and their cage, the cage looked great but not worth that price, he was saying he payed 600 for 1 burm and almost 800 for the other then over 1000 for the cage. I was just curious if this was the same person or not. Thank you
