Almost done.

I am just about done with Dildo’s new cage,I’m just trying to nail down the temps(Surface and air) before letting him move in.I am getting 88 warm side on the shelf,83 cool side on the shelf and 81 cool side under the shelf.I am thinking i may get a better gradiant if i switch from 2-100W bulbs to 3-75-watt bubls and add a small vent on the cool side.I still have to put down pond liner on the floor and shelf but that just takes a minute.

He should be happy in his new condo!

hey jason keep the 100 watt bulb at the hott spot and then add a 75 watt bulb 1 foot next to it, should work out perfectly. im suprised the 100 watt isnt giving you the gradient you want. good luck figuring out the numbers part if nothing else grab a 150 watt and hook it up to a dimmer.

i can make a dimmer diagram for you if you need one.

The heat panels are lost,and i also wanted to create a basking surface temp of about 120,so spot bulbs were needed.The cage floor is lined with 3.5 mil black plastic to contain snake messes.
