 BALL BREEDING

k ive introduced the male and female and i saw copulation about a month ago so should i take him out or leave him. i noticed a month after copulation that she wond go into her hide box does that mean shoudl i go buy a incubator? and when should i turn the heat bak on? any tips will help

Not sure if its just the pics or what but those two look like they are very dry and need to shed. I would give them a soak in warm water and raise the humidity in there cage to about 70%. What happened to the females tail? Poor thing. The female looks a little small for breeding. What her weight?

i know shes sheading the poor thing has such a long story. when i was working for a reptile rescue i got a call about a ball python so i went over and she was left in a tank with a medium rat and it started chewing on her . so i took her out and then started treating her with some oitment and she recoverd i took her to a vet and he said that i could breed her if i want it was about 4 years ago. thats y i dont feed live prey. here current weight is 1314g so thats big enough. shes about 3ft

Reccomended breeding weight is 1500 grams But 13 ish can do as well. That seems awfully light for a 4+ yo BP. Well Im glad that it is good care now!

As far as keeping them together I would say yes if they have locked once they will again. And your temps should be 85 ish hot spot 75 ish cool side. You start warming back up to 90+ in mid Febuary. I would not worry about an incubator until she ovulates. Read through this Link And if you have any more ?s Just ask.

Normally you would cool down for the month of oct. Then introduce them in November.....Read through the link posted above....there is a timeline at the bottom of the page.....
