Nice strip+coloring. How big do they need to get before you breed her?

Exactly what do you consider is a true red..the most common ones you see are sumatran reds, there are also malaysians, though those are what can be hard to get in themselves, or actually be able to find that havn’t been crossed..then of course most recently you see the bangka reds.

True red blood pythons are generally considered to be Python Curtus Brongersmai or Malaysian Blood Python. Although the rich red is not a common find it is a sight to behold very beautiful animal.

3 Main species exist commonly known Python curtus brongersmai (Malayan), Python curtus curtus (Sumatran), Python curtus breitensteini (Borneo,Sarawak)

Yes, she is a true BLOOD python, (Python Brongersmai). Now weather she will be RED or not remains to be seen. I do not know the specific locality that the parents originated from. Here are pics of the parents.

Hey thanks for the kind words guys. The pics of the adults were taken about a year ago, right after I got them, I kept the pair in the boxes you see for quaranteen purposes, after I felt it was ok to put them in my snake room, I housed them in 4’ neodesha cages. I also bred them in the same cages. Thanks again! Kevin.
