 Breathing loudly

two days ago i bought a borneo short tail python,i noticed today at some point her breathing almost sounds like hissing. Her hot spot is 88 f.I first had coconut husk bedding put it put her humdity way to high so today i changed it to aspen its still at 80 i am still trying to get it down to 70. Could this be a sign of respitory infection, what else can i do to help this.

 Breathing loudly

there are a few things it could be.

1. if she is a big that is her just breathing. as long as its not every breath. my large carpets breath pretty heavy every know and then when I am holding them.
2. your snake is in shed. and the shed is blocking the nostrils witch makes the loud sounds.
3. it could be a RI.

where did you get the snake?
