 Dried out?

Theres a little bit of scabbing on my BST pythons back, it doesnt look serious but what is it and how do i get rid of it?

Pics would help. But the things that come immediately to mind are bits of stuck shed, old injuries such as rat bites or rubbing. Your vet can prescribe a topical antibiotic to help it heal if you want to. When I got Charlotte, she had a little mark on her belly and my vet gave me Thermazene, its an antimicrobial creme.

Sorry I should add a little addendum to my post. A trip to the vet isn’t necessary per se. If you’re going to home treat this spot then you can clean it with a little hydrogen peroxide. It’s important not to use anything with additives such as neosporin + pain relief. In fact, I shy away from recommending human antibacterial/healing creams in general.
