 Cage Setup

Im going to get straight to the point and ask if anyone has pics of how to setup a cage for a red blood. we have had him for about 7-8 months now and i know he needs more and probably a new hide but i was just wondering what kind of setups you guys have for your bloods. Anything would be wonderful. Just yesterday he ate a sm rat and he did just fine, he needs a little bit bigger rat. for a size referance.

here is his cage setup

and another pic for his size

and finally, if this doesnt say death i dont know what does.

Jeez...four feet. That’s why I could never live up north. Hell we freak over the mere mention of snow down here in NC. And no, Marley’s not in blue. I took those pics through the plexiglass doors of his cage which lends a ’smokey’ look to everything. Here’s a recent one of him in shed just for comparison.

Yeah...we are a lively bunch aren’t we? So speaking of snow we got around three inches last night. Man...I got off work at 11 and had to drive down a major highway full of ice. It’d have been ok if it weren’t for the fact that all I have is a honda civic. 35 mph two hour commute baby....

Really, that’s funny... when I was in the market for another car, I was looking at CRXs, civics, and civic del sols...but around here they are all way overpriced. I wound up going into SC to get my civic and still overpaid for it a bit (this was right around when gas was going up to $4.00 a gallon so anything fuel efficient commanded premium prices). But I’m very happy with my car. On my last trip back from DC I actually averaged 45mpg. I bet yours is something similar...maybe more.

I suspect you’ll get more than that...maybe mid thirties.

I should say that CRXs are known as high mileage performers...and add that if it’s in decent condition.
