 Timer for iggy

hi, i got mine for around $10.00 saw cheaper ones on e-bay. they are nice in that you can set the lights to come on and go off at the time of day you want, and you dont need to be worried with it. iguanas need so much day light(uvb light for digesting) and so much night time rest without the lights on. just as we do... i use ceramic heat emitter bulbs for basking light because it doesnt put off any light and is perfect to keep iggie warm at night without keeping him awake as with a basking light. i use both heat emitter and basking light (and 5.0 uvb light ) during the day. i bought a thermostate control and pluged all heat type lights into it so i could keep iggies cage at the right temps. you might want to do the same if you havent already. makes life easier on both you and iggie.. good luck...doug
