 My sudan? or blacklined?

Hello:
The Sudan Plated Lizard (G, major major) is a solid colored animal lacking the spots so abundant in most imports of recent years. They usually are kind of a reddish-brown color with a yellowish ventral. Males usually have some red color on the chin area. They are not often seen.
The Common animal that most people see is the "Black-lined" or Giant Plated Lizard (G. m. grandis). I have seen other names pop up for animals in this group but I’m not sure whether they are pet trade names or actual liatin names.
I recently got a pair of Sudans that are kind of unique. Their color leans toward a more dusty red with a touch of grey as opposed to reddish-brown and the male has a slate grayish-blue chin area.
Have A Great Day!!!
