what plant would u choose ? I need a plant that is kind of tropical looking and that can be eaten by a lizard without harm so..... what kind should I get ?

It depends on how big your tank is, we have several plants ranging from 2" to 24", Id personally choose a stricta, its a full plant with lots of green leaves. Non of our plants are toxic , so the lizard eating it wont be a problem.

Hey Flip, I have just the plant, Its a Stricta, and we have mounted it onto a rock, All you would have to do is place it in your tank, and mist it with water about twice a week. The plant is green and the leaves are full, It will baby out and bloom this beautiful purple flower. Price is 6 dollars for the plant and as long as you are in the U.S $5 shipping.
