 Spike is doing much better!

Thanks to all for all the help with the nursing Spike back to health. He is eating on his own now a big Dew Worm and a few Crickets every three to four days, he is putting some beef back on and seems real happy climbing every where and even hanging upside down from the roof of his condo.Deri thanks so much for all your help you are very knowledgeable on these little guys thanks again. I will post some pictures in the next few days I think Spike is getting up there in years is there any way to tell there age? Any how like I said is is doing great best pet I have ever had the pleasure of caring for. Later Gator!

That’s so good to hear! You’re welcome, these are the best lizards, I am always excited when someone gets a new one, this forum had been pretty slow for awhile!
Spike looked to be full grown, it is hard to tell how old they are when you get them like that...but I have one male right now who was thin like spike and just as big when I got him, and I have had him for a little over 4 years now. His name is actually Spike too! But I named him that cuz he was missing most of his spikes:) Yours has awesome spikes, so it fits well!
How is the chinese water dragon doing?
