Can 2 different species of MHD’s live together?

I have had a capra and just recently bought a new MHD realizing it was an armata. Is this ok? Will they get along ok? Will they breed?

Hmm. Then they’re both probably Capras, I’ve never heard of separate Acanthosaura species mating. Is there a huge difference in the horns and spines of them? IE one of them is more flat/diamond shaped, and the others is more conical?

Can you post pics of them?
Armata are rather rare to come across.
If a male is present he will try to mate with the female regardless of type. I believe they are not compatible tho.

That looks like a capra and armata to me. The armata can be a bit difficult to sex. They also look way to young to be breeding. My armata were very aggressive. They were wild caught so I’m sure that didn’t help. My male was a beautiful green and the female stayed brownish most of the time.
I’ll try and post a couple pics for size.

I don’t have hese anymore. Unfortunatly I lost both of them. Don’tknow why the male died but the female was eggbound.

Male

Female

The male in my hand. He was breeding age and not very happy about being held. Hence the dark color.

The two sleeping. This shows the color difference.
