 Water monitor help!

Hello, I purchased a young water monitor 4 days ago and he hasn’t been eating, I figured it was stress from being put in a new environment, nor has he been active at all. I’ve owned monitors in the past but this is my first time owning a water. I would love for him to eventually be tamed down like my past monitors as well and yes I’m aware of the size they grow and already prepared to build him an enclosure and everything lol. I would really appreciate the advice!! IMG_0590.JPG

Your image didn’t work. What are the temps in your lizards current setup?

Your monitor could be acting this way due to stress and not being acclimated but in case it’s not those things low ambient/basking temps can cause similar behavior. I would recommend you raise your ambient closer to 90 and basking to at least 120. Higher temperatures will stimulate your lizards appetite and increase energy. But like i said with just 4 days in your lizard could just be acting shy.
