Argus housing question please help Krusty, shay, or anyone

I just picked up a young juvenile panoptes who is only about 16inchs long head to tail. I have it in my raise up ackie enclosure which is 4x2x2 with 10 inches of substrate. The clock is ticking, the argus is going to grow out of that enclosure very very fast and also I need that enclosure freed up for some reds that will be hatching out soon (eggs just hit 100 days) so my question is Should I even bother building a slightly larger enclosure like what my adult ackies live in which is 5x3x3 or just go straight to a 8ft x 4ft footprint? I’m just afraid jumping straight to a large enclosure may be bad for socializing. "Socializing" I know trolls it’s an argus but I still want to be able to grow a form of relationship with it, some trust and toleration. I plan to build it similar to how shay did his. Base lined with polyboard 2ft deep and a top section with windows. Thanks any feedback is appreciated.
