 Food issue

So ive fed my water monitor a whole salmon but ofcourse i took the bones out. But lately hes been scratching at his food tearing it up and eating it. He did the same with the rabbit last week...is this normal? He finishes the food and its not too big. And can he eat cray fish?

Taming has no set rules aside from patience.

The word tame should never be used with monitors. Only tame monitor is a sick or one that isn’t in the right set up ie not enough heat. They become tolerant of you, but thats what you want.
