Roach Advice In your personal experience what are the best roaches to keep for savannahs in terms of ease of care, breeding, size, etc? I have heard Dubias and Lobsters mentioned a lot and was looking for advice from people who have kept either one or have any other species in mind.

Roach Advice No on the lobsters ive bred them before and its horrible. there fast and can climb anything but they are cheap and do breed fast. i remember tong feeding my pixie frog lobsters and he droped it out of his mouth and as soon as i notice the little guy was already half way up the glass. I would go with dubias and aviod the frustration.

Roach Advice If your feeding a baby-juvie sav you can go dubias and lobsters. If your giong to be feeding an adult sav i would get something bigger like the fusca craniifer cross or madagascar hissing.
Lobsters are not really that bad if you know how to contain them. I have a cage that is 100% sealed with no possiable way out. I grab cup fulls of lobsters and just toss them in. 3" of vaseline will stop them from getting out of whatever your keeping them in.

Roach Advice Alright thank you, I will have to try the lobsters. I was at a show earlier today and they were quite cheap. I’m trying to breed hissers but they take forever to do anything and it’s frustrating.
