A bit of an update on my Sav’s :-)

Man they really grow fast! Just a bit of an update on my Sav’s. :-)

Dakota - Date of Purchase 08-07-09

Original Length of 12" - Current Length of 17"

That’s 5" in 2 1/2 months, I can’t believe it! :-)

Original Weight of 120 grams - Current weight of 340 grams

Ness - Date of purchase 08-07-09

Original Length of 16" - Current Length of 23"

7" in 2 1/2 months! :-)

Original Weight unknown but guessing when Dakota was 16" he was around 300 grams - Current Weight unknown but you get the point. :-)

Oh well, just thought I would do an update and Thanks for all the help to those who helped me, it has really payed off well. :-)

They definitely grow quickly when kept in proper conditions!

Within the next couple days I’ll post an update on my WT. He’s gone from 8" - 18" in 5 weeks.

Cool! They kinda slowed down because I ran out of food except for mice but they will have Dubia’s in a few days so I’m excited about that. I just can’t believe that a 9 month old Beardie, one Leo and two small Sav’s can gobble up 2000 Full Grown Crickets in 2 weeks! Little Pigs... :-)

Wow cody, sounds like your sav’s have been doing some growing. Tude went from 9’’ last month to 11’’ this month, thats just from him starting to take pinkies.

Nice to see you back! This place has not had much commotion so I haven’t really been around either. I take it Tude wasn’t eating pinkies before? I think you posted something about it a while back. I’m happy right now because I just got my shipment of Dubia’s yesterday and Dakota loves them, so does my Beardie, I just can’t wait till’ I have a whole colony of em’. And, I finally got Sand for the Sav’s tank. I haven’t had $40 to buy bags of sand but yesterday I found 800 pounds of sand for $8.80 so I have it now. Just have to put it in buckets and carry it up a flight of stairs which I’m not looking forward to at all :)

That’ll be fun I bet. No, tude was having problems eating the pinkies before. Remember? He didn’t want anything to do with them, now he jumps for them.

Glad to hear the Sav’s are going great Cody. Mine are going about the same rate as yours its crazy how they grow so fast but still to me don’t look that much bigger.

Lisa good to see Tude’s doing well also, and yes rat pinkies are fine, they’re actually a little better(more meat and bones are a little denser). Definitely check into roaches they are pretty much effortless to breed and Tude will appreciate the heck out of them.
