 Laminate?

Hey,

For the bottom of the cage i know you need to put something like vinyl sheets to stop the wood from rotting caused by damp dirt. I was just wondering if you could use laminate as that would be easier and more convenient for me to get?

No not that lol it is the stuff you find on top of desks, you can also get lamanite flooring.
I will post some pictures of it later (camera has no charge) as i have loads of it round my house!

LOL i figured i was wrong i didnt bother looking it up i was just curious. The stuff on top of desks the water seems to run right off. Maybe if you google it you can find some good information.

Hey, my friend owns a laminate company and he done this for me so it is called laminate, but after googling framica it does appear to be the same sort of thing!

I don’t see why it wouldn’t be...it’s durable and waterproof. The only thing is that it may be difficult to work with since it’s fairly brittle and may chip when you try to cut it.

Laminate it not always waterproof, it’s just water restraint in my experience in redoing houses.

Check with the manufacture and see if it’s actually waterproof, and can last up to claws, and moisture 24/7.
